Imam Abdul Alim Musa , prayer leader of Masjid al-Islam in Washington D.C., said that Obama Administration has created nuisance for four Mosques in Washington D.C., Virginia, Houston, and California because of affiliation to Alavi Foundation in the United States.
“By taking action against Alavi Foundation, the Obama Administration has embarked on ‘Image Management’ to damage the image of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He said that Alavi Foundation is a lawful foundation in the United States just like numerous other foundations and the Obama Administration has violated the US law by its attempt to dispossess Alavi Foundation.
“The Foundation is a regular entity in the United States and its goal was to support a good cause. Under the US law, it has the right to help Muslims and non-Muslims.”
He said that the US has enforced embargo on Iran and is trying to disrupt friendship between the American Muslims and Iran.
“To stop good works of Alavi Foundation which follows all rules of the American foundations, the Obama Administration has attempted to dispossess its wealth.”
Asked why the Bush Administration did not take action against Alavi Foundation despite its enmity with Iran, he said that Obama Administration is worse than George Bush’s.
“George W. Bush, we knew what he was, but, Obama says I’m friend and I love you. He says he is reaching out to Iran. What he did in the wake of presidential election in Iran, was worse than what George Bush did.”
The American Muslim leader said that there was a big demonstration at Malcom X Park in Washington D.C. last Saturday by black people against Obama and his policy.
“Obama Administration was placed in power by American and Israeli lobby to escalate tension between black people and Muslims in the United States.”
